April Lockhart
April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th day of July. She started guitar and piano lessons at age seven. Her passion for making music was ignited. The song that she first wrote for April was Different. She wrote it at the age of 12. The singer spent much of her time when she was 14 writing songs and playing. She began writing with her father on the streets of NY and LA shortly after. April started to incorporate different topics that were relevant to the song, such as the Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure issues and suicide among teens. Lockhart has a fan base of her own and also works as a lifestyle blogger under the well-known Ilia Pure Beauty brand. Lockhart was born with no left hand, and it's part of who she is--but it's far from the entirety of her story. Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't conceal her handicap, but it doesn't concentrate solely on the condition. The main message? There is more to us than the physical person we are. Our identities are complicated and comprise a multitude of aspects. Lockhart in a video message from Nashville's home, says that I do not intend to allow this to be a part of me. I am beyond my physical self. And it doesn't affect my daily life. I conduct every day as normal and have found my own way to adjust things. Since it's a part of me personally I think it's worth discussing. Lockhart is a great example for self-acceptance generally, is on a long path to reach this. Lockhart admits that she goes through phases with regard to her body, feeling uncomfortable in certain clothing which exposed her arms. She dresses according to her preferences and proudly shares photos of herself in the outfits she selects to share on social networks. She says that self-love is a journey. It's hard to say if you'll ever reach the end. It's a long journey. I'm not convinced that you will ever arrive. The idea of having people around you who really have a sense of who you are and understand the depths of your soul is vital because they'll also be the people who will remind you what you worried about?
